WHERE WE COME FROM

We are a family from rural Bihar. Our parents have been making
thekua, gujia, and traditional snacks the same way for decades —
by hand, in a village kitchen, with pure ingredients and no
shortcuts. No factory. No machine pressing. No preservative
extending the shelf life at the cost of the flavour.

Just hands. Just recipes. Just Bihar.

WHY WE STARTED

Bihar is home to some of India's most extraordinary foods —
Tilkut from Gaya, Thekua from every household, Makhana from
Darbhanga, Anarsa from festive kitchens across the state.
These are not just snacks. They are cultural landmarks.

But if you're a Bihari living in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi,
Pune — or anywhere outside Bihar — getting the real thing
is nearly impossible. What you find in stores is either a
pale imitation or simply not available.

We saw that gap. And we decided to close it.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe that real food doesn't need a long ingredients list.
Classic Thekua has three ingredients — atta, gur, ghee.
That's it. That's the recipe. That's all it needs.

We believe that authenticity cannot be manufactured.
You cannot replicate a generational recipe in a factory.
The flavour lives in the method, the hands, the patience.

We believe that where food comes from matters.
Our Makhana is sourced from Darbhanga — the makhana
capital of the world. Our jaggery is unrefined, raw,
and sourced locally. Every ingredient has a source
we know and trust.

HOW WE WORK

Our parents manufacture every handmade product — Classic
Thekua, Jagiri Thekua, Elaichi Thekua, Gujia Suji, and
Gujia Khoa — fresh, in small batches, from our village
kitchen in Bihar.

Our sourced products — Tilkut, Anarsa, Makhana, Nimki,
Chivda, and more — are carefully selected from trusted
local producers across Bihar, quality-checked, and
labelled under the Moment Snacks standard.

Every order is packed by hand. Every packet leaves Bihar
with care. Every delivery is a small piece of home,
travelling across India to reach you.

THE NAME

A moment is small. Quiet. Easy to miss.

We named this brand Moment Snacks because that's what
we're really delivering. Not just food. Moments.
